Hello,

I veteran and deployed with 2/34th Infantry Brigade Combat team in 2010-2011. I am a collector of military insignia and uniforms. I have a uniform which has a name of Leslie Donald Sorenson. I have come across a Jan 1946 dated article "Kossuth County Advance" that indicated he came back from the war after 3 1/2 years service. I also learned he was born in Minnesota in 1920 and passed away on 3 Feb 2000 in Algona, Kossuth, Iowa. Would there be any leads in locating his discharge or service records that may have been filed with the County after the war.
