i have a old bible that i found in my granfathers garage and the names read as follows:
Henry wirtz born march 22 1844
mary wirtz born febuary 7 1843john henry wirtz born april 12 1865
lewis philip wirtz born may 14 1866
george adam wirtz march 25 1868
charles william wirtz born june 20 1870
francis marian wirtz born september 19(?)1872
allen willard wirtz bornoctober 10 1874the last few names are faded but i think they read as follows:
oliver wesly wirtz born feburay(?)9 1877
sheman edward wirtz born april 1(?) 1880i beleive sherman married a julia and i think her last name was reardon i may be wrong on the name but i do know that one of his son's name was wayne alan wirtz born march 27 1915 he was my grandfather.wayne had only one child marilyn j wirtz born june 3 1945 she was my mother she had only i child terrie l wirtz(me) born febuary 20 1967 and i have two children sara e wirtz and makaylie f anderegg .wayne married a lillan(or laurene)i think her last name was campbell i'm not sure on that either she died in 1962 before i was born.i think they were married around 1940,1942 wayne had a brother byron and a sister vera there were others but i don't know who they where i don't know if vera is still alive she lives on a farm i beleive in demonies iowa i was a teenager the last time i seen her and my grandfather would get greeting carnd from her but he died in 2000 and i've lived at his house since 1999 and haven't received anything from his sister vera i can only assume she has passed as well my daughter sara and i are the only wirtz's(as far as i know) who are still living i have been searching the web pages for anything or anyone who can tell me anything about my family it seems like such a mystery. i hope this can help you and i also hope you can help me i don't know a thing about my family before my grandfather i have all these pictures and letters and things i don't know who they are where they are from or what they mean i only have guess's and can only assume the answers
