FINAL RITES FOR KATHRYN BODE
Funeral services with requiem high mass by Rev. J.M. Mallinger were held at St. Cecelia’s church here Thursday morning at 10 o’clock for Kathryn Bode, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bode, of Union township. Miss Bode passed away Monday at a local hospital. Pallbearers were Ward, Winkle, Alphonse Eisbecker, Leroy Nauman, Mike Stoffel, Floyd Bode and Kenneth Sarchet. Interment was in Calvary cemetery. Evelyn Bode, soloist, and the St. Cecelia’s Girl’s Choir, with Miss Josie McEvoy at the organ, sang at the services. The sophomore and 6th grade classes of St. Cecelia’s Academy attended in a body.

MANY AT FUNERAL.
Miss Bode is survived by her parents, two sisters, Mrs. A.W. Lindsley of Fort Dodge and Joan, at home; three brothers, Robert and Donald at home and Bernard J., E.M. 2-c, now at sea, and who could not be contacted; and a grandmother, Mrs. Caroline Bode, Atlanta, Ill., who was unable to attend the services because of advanced age. Present at the final rites were Peter Bode, McLean, Ill.; Charles and Erwin Bode, Lincoln, Ill.; John Lamuth, Irene Lamuth and Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Ryno and son Richard, of Fort Dodge; Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Puth and children, of Waterloo; Mrs. J. G. Resch and son Leo, of Jackson, Minn.; Herman Bode of Mason City; and Mr. and Mrs. James Coady, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Kramer, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Kramer, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Schlitz, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rahe, and P.M. Schultz, all of Bancroft.
