Mr. G.S. Holden of Irvington, died very suddenly on the night of Jan. 23d. His wife noticed some difficulty in his breathing and tried to waken him, but was unable to do so. Mr. G.W. Bates, a near neighbor was immediately sent for, but before he could reach the house Mr. Holden had breathed his last. Mr. Holden was about sixty years of age and has been a resident of the county about five years.
