I know this query is quite a few years old and I don't know if anyone has found the answer, but I have some information you are seeking. Abraham is my husband's 3rd great-grandfather. The information I will share I have found on Ancestry.
The following is the transcript of Abraham's obit. It was published in the Evangelical Messenger 1 Apr 1890. Page 203, Col. 4. It was shared to Ancestry in 2013 by an Ancestry member who goes by mollygrimm1.
Abraham Grim was born in Schuylkill Co. Pa., Oct 21, 1812, died at his home in Jones Co. Iowa, Feb. 24, 1890. He was married to Maria Guise, May 21, 1831. To this union were born five sons and seven daughters. The mother and nine children are still living. There are 75 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Father Grim was converted when he was about 32 years old and united with the Ev. Association, of which he was a faithful member to death. His last hours were hours of Christian triumph. Funeral services by the writer in English; in German by Rev. A. Niebel. Thos. M. Evans.
While I can not verify with records, I have found that Abraham's parents are listed as Martin and Catharina Reed. This information is listed on Abraham's Find A Grave memorial page, https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/15046434/abraham-grimm
I do not have information on Mariah's parents, but Ancestry is giving me hints that I have not had time to look into. I hope what I have shared helps.
