I have been tracing the Taylor family for 30+ years and have this evening at last found Joseph C "Joe" Taylor, whom I believe is the husband of Eliza Taylor and father of the 5 children. He was born about 1862 in Jones County IA, the son of Wesley Henry Taylor (1809 KY - 1881 Tama County IA) and Nancy Switzer Taylor (abt 1818 OH - abt1890 Marshall County IA). Joe lived in Clear Lake, Iowa, on and off from 1898 - 1929. He died in the Iowa State Hospital at Cherokee, Iowa, on 13Apr1929.
Would be pleased to share further info on Joe's ancestry in exchange for info on descendants of Joe and Eliza.
