I have several newspaper article in front of me that tell the details of this murder and trial.

However, Edward D Miner's father was William D Miner/Minor (1820-1888). His mother was Emily Emerson.

Edward D Miner was first married to Anna Crouch. She was the dau. of Charles Crouch and Irena Catherine Tosh/Jash. Edward was divorced by Anna in 9/30/1925. He then had a wife named Mrs. Hilda/Tilda (Fry) Wilke of Van Wert.

If you still think this is your relative, I will happy to copy all the newspaper articles, trial papers, etc. and send them to you. There are probably 30 or more pages here.
