OLIN - Funeral services for Harold John Julius Von Behren, 51, were held March 19 in St. John's Lutheran church. The Rev. Robert R. Ahrens, Wyoming, officiated. Burial was in Olin cemetery.

Mr. Von Behren died suddenly March 17. He was born March 25, 1914 in Cedar county, the son of Frederick and Augusta Von Behren. He attended the Stanwood schools. He was married Oct. 18, 1936 to Elna Kreger and had farmed near Olin since that time.

He is survived by his wife; six children, Mrs. Duane (Jeanette) Mallicoat of Wyoming, Colleen, Garon and Emelie of Cedar Rapids, Gale and Gregory at home; three grandchildren; one brother, John of Anamosa; three sisters, Mrs. Kermit Hoyer of Monticello, Mrs. Dean Weede of Bettendorf and Mrs. Delmar Findley of Mechanicsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.

Another brother, Leo F. Von Behren, 46, Anamosa, followed him in death on March 20.

Funeral services for Leo Von Behren were held March 23 at Olin. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

He is survived by his wife and four children of Anamosa and the above named brothers and sisters.
