MONTICELLO - Funeral services were held Monday at St. Matthew Lutheran church for Otto Karl Weinlader, 84, who died at the Onslow Nursing home Sept. 20 after an illness of several weeks. The Rev. Anton Kirkegaard officiated. Burial was made at Oakwood cemetery.

Born in Dec. 26, 1878 at St. Donatus, he was the son of John and Marie Schumacher Weinlader. He farmed in the Scotch Grove community prior to coming to Monticello where he made his home with his nephew Harold Gottleaber Sr. the past five years. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Van Horn of Clinton and Mrs. Mary Wacker of Monticello.

Pallbearers included Louie Hanken, Harold E. Gottleadber, Harvey Van Horn, Wayne Wacker, Earl Null and Andy Kelchen.
