ONSLOW - Funeral services for Ed Hodoval, 64, were held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Onslow Presbyterian church with the Rev. Wayne Norris officiating. Burial took place in the Olin cemetery.

Mr. Hodoval was born June 14, 1899 on a farm near Emeline in Jackson county, and died Sept. 3, in Mercy hospital at Anamosa. His parents were Frank and Katherine Sokol Hodoval.

His family moved to Oxford Jct. early in Mr. Hodoval's life. There he graduated from high school. He attended the University of Iowa school of pharmacy and graduated in 1923.

Mr. Hodoval and Miss Wilma Starry were married June 5, 1924 at Marion. They made their home in Wyoming until purchasing the drug store in Onslow in 1935. Two children were born to this union, Ronald E. of Evansville, Ind. and Leland F. of Ames.

Others who survive, besides his wife and sons are one granddaughter; three brothers, Frank of Oxford Jct., Louis of Orlando, Fla., and William of Bellevue; and one sister, Mrs. Elon (Emma) Huffman of Palalka, Fla.
