MORLEY - Mrs. Clara Lessard, 88, died Wednesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Klinefelter, Anamosa RFD 2.

Service tentatively has been set for next Sunday. Final arrangements await word from children living in Chicago, Utah and Texas. Smykil Home for Funerals will be in charge of the service.

AMBER - Funeral service for Mrs. Charles E. Lessard, 88, near Morley, was held Wednesday, April 2, in the Wayne Evangelical Lutheran church. Burial was in Forest cemetery.

Clara Ann Portlock was born at Burlington April 5, 1858, and married Charles Edward Lessard in Marion in 1882. They had five children, one of whom died in infancy. Mr. Lessard died in 1932.

Surviving children are Louis, Springville, Utah; Howard, Chicago; Elmer, Janesville, Wisc.; and Mrs. Will Klinefelter, Morley, with whom Mrs. Lessard lived for 11 years. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
