WYOMING - Funeral service for John A. Petersen, 63, who died Friday night of last week at his home one quarter mile west of Wyoming, was held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Lutheran church, Oxford Junction, with Rev. Wesley Buck in charge. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Mr. Petersen was born in Oxford Junction and always lived in the Oxford Junction-Wyoming community. He was in ill health the last year.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Anna Petersen; one daughter, Mrs. Merle Kitzmiller, Pecatonica, Ill.; two granddaughters; three brothers, Louis Petersen, Tom Petersen and Martin Petersen, all of Oxford Junction, and two sisters, Mrs. August Carstensen and Mrs. Anna Carstensen, Wyoming.
