STONE CITY - Adolphus Patnode, 75, died Sunday morning at an Iowa City hospital.

Funeral service was held at St. Joseph's church this Wednesday at nine a.m. Rev. J. I. Patnode, a brother, read the funeral mass. Rev. A. L. Zacker, pastor, delivered the funeral sermon. Burial was made in Holy Cross cemetery, Anamosa.

Mr. Patnode was a farmer for most of his life. He never married. Survivors include three brothers, Edward J. and Theodore Patnode, and Rev. J. I. Patnode, Dubuque. Two sisters, Mrs. Lem Postel, Viola and Mrs. C. L. Blayney, also survive.

Rosary service was held Tuesday night at the McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa.
