WYOMING--Mrs. Anna Pankow, 79, Wyoming, died Thursday evening, Aug. 1, at her home in Wyoming.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 5, at 1:30 p.m., at Zion American Lutheran church, Wyoming. Rev. Robert R. Ahrens officiated at the service. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery. Hayden Funeral home, Wyoming, was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers included Freddie Luckstead, Henry VonSprecken, Claude VonSprecken, George Ehler, Raymond Luckstedt and Clarence Luckstedt.

Mrs. Malvin Martensen was organist. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lacock were vocalists.

She was born Sept. 18, 1883, daughter of Frederick and Wilhelmina Holtz Luckstedt, on a farm south of Wyoming. She attended Baldwin country school and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

She was married to Frederick A. Pankow Oct. 12, 1910. Couple established their home on farms in the Olin and Wyoming areas before moving to Wyoming in March of 1920.

She was a member of the Lutheran church and circle groups of the church. Her husband preceded her in death in March 1950. She made her home with her daughter, Luella, Mrs. Lafayette Bahnsen.

Beside her daughter she is survived by four grandchildren; a brother, George Luckstead, Wyoming; two sisters, Lena, Mrs. Gus VonSprecken, Wyoming, and Mrs. Tillie Ehlers, Monticello.

Other survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. John Fedderson, Loveland, Colo., and three step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Beside her husband she was preceded in death by two daughters in infancy, her parents and two brothers.
