Services were held in the Wyoming Presbyterian Church Wednesday, March 30th at 11:00 a.m. for Alice A. Eichhorn, 82 of Wyoming. Burial was in the Wyoming Cemetery with Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Mrs. Eichhorn died March 27, 1977 at the Jackson Co. Public Hospital in Maquoketa.

Mrs. Eichhorn was born April 16, 1894, to Joseph and Nettie Abel Messner in Plainfield, Ill. When she was a young girl her family moved to Moccasin, Montana, where she met her husband, Peter.

They were married at Great Falls, Mont. on Feb. 17, 1915. The couple farmed east of Wyoming until 1947, when they retired to Wyoming. Mr. Eichhorn died in 1950.

Alice was a member of the Presbyterian Church, 50 years in O.E.S., Charter member of Pleasant Ridge Community Club and The Presbyterian Industrial Society.

She is survived by 3 sons, John and Richard of Wyoming and Howard of Marion; 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Mrs. Amelia Eichhorn of Postville.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 1 great grandson and 1 sister.
