George Dusanek,94, of Onslow, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, at his home following a sudden illness. Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Wyoming, by the Rev. Jim Langley. Burial - Wyoming Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hayden & Lahey Funeral Home in Wyoming.

George Dusanek was born April 3, 1909, at his parents' home in rural Wyoming, Iowa, to Joseph and Rose (Kosticek) Dusanek. He graduated from Wyoming High School in 1928. He married Clara Mae Klinefelter on Feb. 24, 1937, in Anamosa, Iowa. She died in 2001. He had farmed all his life.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wyoming and the Midland Council of Churches.

He is survived by three daughters, Eileen (Sam) Ajiri of Detroit, Rosalie (Ken) Russell of Houston and Margaret (Chris) Kyrtsos of Southfield, Mich.; three sons, John (Cleo Kaye) Dusanek of Wyoming, Norman (Folashade) Dusanek of Los Angeles and Marvin (Nancy) Dusanek of Monticello; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren that he adored. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Howard Klinefelter of Topeka, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, his parents and two sisters.

Memorials are preferred.
