Jeannette Adele Husmann, 91, of Wyoming passed away January 11, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Born July 8, 1926 in Andrew, Iowa the daughter of Robert Clifford and Sabina Rockwell.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming. Burial will be held at Wyoming Cemetery. Lahey and Dawson Funeral Services is assisting the family at this time.

A long time resident of Wyoming, Iowa she worked at Brandt Nursing Home and was the site manager of the Congregate meals of Wyoming for many years. She enjoyed Rockwell reunions and gatherings with her friends, brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband Alva, sons; Jim Boots of Monticello, Dennis (Maria) Boots of Monticello, daughters; Cheryl (Lyle) Gullickson of Kansas City, MO, Barb (Steve) Burchett of Springfield, MO, Debbie Ellefson of Wyoming, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, a sister Ellen Newmarch of Iowa City, brother, Gerald Rockwell of Maquoketa.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Vesta Moenk and Frances Rockwell, brother, Carroll Rockwell and son-in-law Nathan Ellefson.
