The report of the Warden of the State Penitentiary for the month of June shows the number of convicts to be 202. The receipts for the month were $16,873.78; expenditures, $4,129.80. Discharged by expiration of sentence, 13; pardoned, 1,

Alexander Cairns, who had been in jail in Delhi for two months, for threatening to kill a young lady because she would not marry him, had exhibited more and more unmistakable signs of insanity, until last week he was taken to the State Insane Asylum.
