SAD ACCIDENT-One of our worthy citizens, Benjamin Foos, in Greenfield Township, came to his death in an unfortunate manner on the first of this month. The account sent us says he was engaged in hauling logs to the saw mill in the village of Fairview. He was just entering the saw yard astride a log and in making a turn on a sideling place, the sled struck a grub, throwing sled and all over. The log in which he was sitting threw him against another, crushing his hips in a terrible manner. The unfortunate man lived four hours in great suffering when death came to his relief. He leaves a family of four children.
