MARRIED

At the house of the bride’s father, at Newport, Jackson Township, by the Rev. W. F. Lloyd, D. D., Mr. Edward H. Marshall, of Marion, Linn Co., to Miss Mary Ella, oldest daughter of Mr. Anson Hayden, Esq. of Jones Co.

Both of the above parties were formerly of Anamosa – Mr. Marshall, for a long time, being in Peet & Cox’s Store. He is now in the Dry Goods business in Marion, Linn Co. Our best thanks are tendered the happy couple for a nice assortment of wedding cake. Prosperity be with them.
