Funeral services for Floyd Wolfe Sr., 71, formerly of North Liberty and father of Mrs. L. Dean (Arlene) Post, Tipton, were held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Iowa City, Jan. 18 with burial in Oak Ridge cemetery, North Liberty.

Mr. Wolfe died at Lakeland, Fla. Jan. 15, following a short illness.

The son of Orville and Florence Moreland Wolfe, he was born in Johnson county Sept. 12, 1901. He married Alma Koenig at Cedar Rapids Oct. 4, 1926. The couple farmed near North Liberty until 1966 and moved to Lakeland in 1971. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran church.

Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Floyd Jr., Oakland, Calif. and Allen, Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. L. Dean Post, Tipton; 8 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Edith) Cole, Seattle, Wash.

A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
