Phyllis “Chloe” (Langenberg) Pechman, 80, of Iowa City passed away June 15, 2022.

A memorial service will be held Sunday June 19, 2022 at 1 PM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Avenue, Iowa City, where family will greet friends before the service from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Phyllis was born March 22, 1942 in Iowa City, Iowa to Henry and Clotilda (Lynch) Langenberg. She grew up in Iowa City and graduated from Regina High School in 1960.

She owned and operated Pechman Professional Services from 1982 until her retirement Phyllis provided people with career counseling and computer training for their professional advancement.

Chloe eventually moved to Bedford, NH and Pittsburgh, PA to be closer to her children and grandchildren until moving back to Iowa City.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and was active in the senior citizens community.

Survivors include her children Scott Pechman, David Pechman and Patricia Dwyer; grandchildren Kieran, Nathaniel, Keegan; her brother Pat (Kay) Langenberg; sister-in-law Fran Langenberg; former spouse John Pechman and several nieces and nephews who supported her over during her time in Iowa City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Jerry, Dennis and Chuck Langenberg.
