Gerald “Jerry” Koepp, 83, of Iowa City passed away on June 10, 2022 at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday June 14, 2022 at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Avenue, Iowa City, where visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at The Oxford Cemetery followed by a luncheon at The Eagles Club in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The American Kidney Fund or The Iowa Donor Network. The service will be livestreamed on Zoom. Jerry Koepp was born on January 30, 1939, in Camanche, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy from 1957 until 1963. Jerry began his career in 1963 working in the UIHC Urology Department inpatient ward. After earning certification as an O.R. Tech, he transferred to the urology clinic, where he was honored by the UIHC for his 35 years of service as an Operating Room Technician.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Koepp; two children Jeffrey (Maxine) Koepp and Tina (Pat) Pacha; four grandchildren Stephanie Koepp (Cyrus Roat), Megan Koepp, Katelyn Pacha and Kelsey Pacha; and a sister Sally (Ray) Ceynar.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents George and Jeanette Koepp.
