Carol M. Larson, age 68 lifelong resident of Iowa City died Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Windmill Manor in Coralville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City where visitation will be from 11:30 am Thursday until services. Burial will follow services at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her memory. Carol Marie Sharp was born February 14, 1953, in Iowa City the daughter of Sylvester “Bud” and Alice (Griffith) Sharp. Attending schools in Iowa City she graduated from West High School with the Class of 1971. On July 1, 1978, she married Nordeen Larson. She worked for the City of Iowa City as a cashier for over 25 years before her retirement. Carol was a member of Christ The King Lutheran Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, she enjoyed crocheting, baking and supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes!

Her family includes her siblings, Shirley Green (John), Mary Saylor and Don Sharp (Nancy Husted); numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws, Lorna Lovell (Richard), Liz Goodrich (Glenn), Arnold Larson (Nancy), Roger Larson (Gayle), and Burnell Larson (June).

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant brother.
