Donna M. Lippard, 67, of North Liberty, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, July 23, 2021.

Donna chose to be cremated. A celebration of her life will be planned in the upcoming weeks. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service is handling arrangements.

Born October 12, 1953 in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the daughter of Gene and Pinky (Gier) Lynn, Donna grew up in West Chester and graduated from Mid-Prairie High School in Wellman

She worked as a teacher’s aide in various elementary schools, CIVCO in Kalona, Procter & Gamble in Iowa City and at Lil’ Rustlers Daycare in North Liberty. Donna very much enjoyed boating, morel mushroom hunting and riding on the trike or in the ole’ Willy’s Jeep in the summertime.

She was always the hit with the neighborhood kids – as Donna always had an ample supply of ice cream and popsicles.

She is survived by her husband Mike Vogel; sons, Steven Lippard of West Chester Ryan Lippard of Hiawatha and Matt Fiel of Oskaloosa; step-sons, Josh, Zach, Cody and Michael Vogel; sisters, Dixie Emmert (Phillip) of Frytown and Sallie Stockstell of Hiawatha; brother, Robert Lynn of West Chester; several nieces and nephews and was loved and will be missed by her fur babies, Gus the dog and Jinx the cat.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
