Miss Katherine Myers, 78 years old, a resident of Iowa City for almost a half century, died at her home Wednesday afternoon.

She is survived by two nephews, C. H. Myers of Iowa City, and Preston Myers of Omaha, Neb., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Tomlinson, of West Branch.

The funeral service was held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Harmon funeral home with the Rev. LeRoy Munyon of the Christian church in charge. Burial was at West Liberty.
