OBITUARY OF JOSEPH TROYER

Joseph Troyer, son of Levi and Christina Troyer, was born in Michigan, March 24, 1870, and died Feb. 16, 1935, at the age of 64 years, 11 months, and 8 days. He was the 5th child of a family of nine children. Of these, two are still living; Ira Troyer, Jerome, Idaho, and Mrs. Frank Schneider, Riverside.
At the age of three years, he came with his parents to Iowa. Five years were spent in Illinois and 15 in Colorado, where he took up a homestead. The closing years of his life were spent at the Jacob Troyer home, near Sharon Center. For the past fifteen years he has been a member of the Sharon Evangelical church.
The funeral, in charge of Rev. R. E. Kerney, was held at the Sharon Evangelical church on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.; and burial made in the adjoining cemetery.

JOE TROYER PASSES AWAY NEAR SHARON

Funeral Services Will Be Held Tomorrow

SHARON - Mr. Joe Troyer, 65, passed away suddenly Saturday evening at the home of his brother, Jacob, where he had resided for several years. He had been in failing health with heart trouble since October.
Mr. Troyer was unmarried. A brother, Ira, is expected to arrive from his home in Idaho tomorrow morning. A sister, Mrs. Frank Schneider, of Bayertown, also survives.
Funeral services are planned for tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Evangelical Church of which he was a member.
