SHARON - Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Sharon Evangelical church for Mr. Jacob Troyer, who died at Mercy hospital at Iowa City Saturday night. Interment was in the Sharon cemetery. Mr. Troyer had been in poor health for several weeks and was taken to the hospital Tuesday for an operation.

Surviving are his widow and three children. Ethel M., Alva J. and Ralph Newton, all at home. He also leaves two brothers, Joseph of Sharon and Ira of Jerome, Idaho and a sister Mrs. Frank Schneider of Bayertown.

Mr. Troyer was 64 years old and was a member of the board of trustees of the Sharon Evangelical church.
