Donald A. Bates, 56, passed away Monday, November 20th following a sudden heart ailment.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, friends may direct memorials to the Bates Children Educational Fund c/o Hills Bank & Trust.

Donald is survived by his wife, Susan E Nicol; three children, Devin (Sharon) of Atlanta, GA, Tori of Waukesha, WI, and Kim of Iowa City.
