HARPER Funeral 1 P. M. Friday

Last rites will be Friday for George A. HARPER, 66, Davenport, former Fairfield resident who passed away last night at the Mercy hospital in Davenport (note: in Scott Co., IA).

The services will be at the Weston Behner funeral home Friday at 1 p.m. CDT with the Rev. Lee Davis officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. HARPER's death followed a lingering illness.

Geohge (sic) A. HARPER was born Oct. 3, 1894, at Milon, Mo., and was married in 1916 at Ottumwa to Emma HULL. She passed away in 1951.

HARPER had worked for the Milwaukee railroad since 1917 and had been retired the past three years.

He is survived by four brothers, Henry, Nova and Charles, all of Fairfield, and John HARPER, Davenport. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Fred LATHROP, Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons, two brothers and two sisters.
