GEORGE W. COLESON

George W. COLESON, son of George and Mollie COLESON, was born at Mt. Pleasant, Sept. 22, 1867, and passed away at his home in Fairfield, Dec. 1, 1932, after a lingering illness of several months.

August 26, 1869, he was united in marriage to Miss Anna DEN of Birmingham. Most of their married life was spent in this community. They had one son, Orville, who died in young manhood.

Mr. COLESON was converted a number of years ago among the Free Methodist people and lived a consistent Christian life. In later years he joined the A. M. E. church, to which he belonged when he passed away.

He was a patient sufferer and the last few hours before he passed away he left such a wonderful testimony behind, shouting the victory and it was well with his soul. For many years he was employed at the Iowa Malleable Iron Co. He was a good man, good natured, a devoted husband, quiet and industrious, and will be missed not only in his home but among his fellow workmen and neighbors.

He leaves to mourn, his wife Mrs. Anna COLESON, one sister Mrs. Bertha FOOTS of Fort Wayne, Ind., one brother Charles of Mt. Pleasant, and a host of other relatives and friends.
