Eleanor I. GALBRAITH dies

Services for Eleanor I. GALBRAITH, 76, who died Monday night at the Burlington Medical Center in Burlington (note: in Des Moines Co., IA), will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Behner Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to the Heart Association.

Mrs. GALBRAITH was born Nov. 26, 1909, in Burlington, the daughter of Edward and Julie ENBURG PALMBERG. She was united in marriage to Edward GALBRAITH Nov. 26, 1931, in Burlington. Eleanor lived most of her life in the Fairfield community. She was a homemaker and worked as a floral designer for many years for the former Coender's Flower Shop before retiring from the Fairfield Flower Shop. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and the A.A.R.P.

Surviving are five daughters, Sylvia TRUMBULL of Chariton, Analee HARPER of Oklahoma city, Virginia WAUGH of Burlington, Kathy FLORES of St. Louis, Linda CATHEY of Fairfield; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two nephews. Her husband preceded her in death.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF ELEANOR I. GALBRAITH, DECEASED, WHO DIED ON OR ABOUT JUNE 30, 1986:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 3RD DAY OF JULY, 1986, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELEANOR I. GALBRAITH, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 15TH DAY OF MAY, 1963, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT SYLVIA GALBRAITH TRUMBULL WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE THE WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN FOUR MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO THE ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN FOUR MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) A CLAIM IS THEREAFTER FOREVER BARRED.
