... Miss Emily DAY, sister of Wm. DAY, died Sabbath morning at 4:30 at the home of J. W. CUMINGORE (sic - COMMINGORE) in the southwest part of town. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church yesterday afternoon conducted at 2:30, conducted by Rev. I. O. Kemble. ...

Death of Miss DAY.

Miss Emily DAY died at the home of John W. CUMINGORE in this city Sunday morning, after an illness of ten days, although she had been in poor health for some time past. She was a sister of William DAY, and had been a resident of this city for perhaps twelve years past. Her age was seventy-six years. Miss DAY was a member of the First Methodist church, and had many friends in the city who will mourn her death. Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church Monday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. I. O. Kemble.

Death of Miss Emily DAY.

Miss Emily DAY died at the home of John COMMINGORE, in the southwestern part of town, last Sunday morning at half past four o'clock. The funeral took place from the Methodist church Monday afternoon at half past two o'clock, Rev. I. O. Kemble conducted the services.

Miss DAY was a sister of William DAY, and an aunt of Mrs. John COMMINGORE, at whose home she died. She had resided in this city for the past twelve years, coming here from Newark, New Jersey, and until the last year had made her home with her brother. She was seventy-six years old. During the past winter her health had been poor and for ten days before her death, which was caused from gastric fever, she had been confined to her bed.
