DAVISON RITES TO BE MONDAY

William H. DAVISON, well known Fairfield resident and retired Dexter company employe, passed away early this morning after a serious illness of the past two weeks. He passed away at 119 S. Main street where he was being cared for while ill. His home was at 604 N. Main.

Last rites will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

William H. DAVISON, 76, was born Dec. 3, 1875, at Brighton, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Franklin M. DAVISON. He was united in marriage on Feb. 3, 1903 to Ella Jane STONE who preceded him in death on Feb. 13, 1945. The couple was married in Henry county.

DAVISON was employed at the Dexter company from 1923 to 1942 when he retired. He moved to Fairfield 29 years ago from a farm near Brighton and was a member of the Eagles lodge (sic - Aerie/Club).

He is survived by two children, Mrs. Vern NELSON, route 4, Fairfield and Dale DAVISON, Fairfield. He is also survived by four grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Lee DAVISON, Fairfield; Mrs. Mae NORDYKE, Mrs. Joe KESSELL (sic - KESSEL) and Tom DAVISON, all of Brighton.

Two brothers preceded him in death.
