C. L. DAVISON Dies Suddenly

Clifford L. DAVISON, 62, Fairfield, died suddenly about 8:30 a.m. today at the Robo Car Wash firm at teh west edge of the city limits. He died of a heart attack.

The body was taken to the Weston Behner Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

Reports said DAVISON was employed at the Robo-Wash part time but was not on duty at the time of his death. He was visiting with the attendant on duty. He got up from his chair and fell forward.

The family home is located at 300 E. Stone.

DAVISON Rites On Wednesday

Clifford L. DAVISON, 62, died suddenly Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the Robo-Wash west of Fairfield while visiting with a friend. He was employed part time at the Robo-Wash but has worked the past 12 years at the Iowa Malleable. The family home is at 300 E. Stone.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Ned Gillum. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

He was born April 7, 1905 in Jefferson County, the son of Stoner and Jennie DICKINSON DAVISON and was married October 23, 1954 to Cleo SHIPLEY. He spent his entire life in the Jefferson County and Fairfield community.

Besides his wife he is survived by the following children: Virginia HOLMAN, Phoenix, Ariz.; Rosanna CRAFTON, Princeton, Iowa; Carroll DAVISON, Bettendorf, and Ronald DAVISON, Davenport; one step-daughter, Carolyn McKITTRICK, Princeton, Iowa. Also two sisters, Mrs. Frank BELL, Fairfield, and Mrs. Nettie WATTERS, San Antonio, Tex.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Clifford L. DAVISON, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Above Entitled Estate:

You are hereby notified that the undersigned has been appointed administrator of the above entitled estate; that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance, and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
