Last Rites Yesterday For Mrs. Ethel DAVIS

Short funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Hoskins funeral home for Mrs. Russell DAVIS, who passed away in Panama after suffering a heart attack. Rev. S. P. Williamson, pastor of the First Christian church, was in charge of the services. Mr. DAVIS, who has been employed by the government in Panama for the past year, and 3½ year old daughter, Marcia, accompanied Mrs. DAVIS' ashes back to Fairfield.

The deceased was the former Miss Ethel COFFIN, youngest daughter of Jasper COFFIN of near Birmingham, and was reared in the Stockport vicinity. Before going to Panama, Mr. and Mrs. DAVIS had made their home in the Tri-Cities.

Besides her husband and small daughter, Mrs. DAVIS is survived by her father; three sisters, Miss Ruth COFFIN of Oregon, Mrs. Willard REYNODS (Kathryn) of the Tri-Cities and Mrs. Elmer KOCH (Lucile) of Brighton; and by two brothers, Howard COFFIN of Brighton and Raymond COFFIN of near Birmingham. All were able to attend the services yesterday.
