Christopher McHUGH, 53, of Keota, Iowa passed away on April 28, 2018. He was born on August 24, 1964 in Aberdeen, Washington to Larry and Mary COX COHENOUR. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1982. Christopher married Kris WATSON in 1991 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Together they raised two children, Alix and Gracie.

Chris was an avid reader, mostly non-fiction, he liked marbles and hot wheel cars. He enjoyed history and studied and collected Indian artifacts. He was funny, a great friend and someone that everyone wanted to be around. Chris was the type of guy that didn't know a stranger, he will be greatly missed by his friends, family and all those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Kris; his mother, Mary COHENOUR of Fairfield; a son, Alix McHUGH of Portland, Oregon; a daughter, Gracie McHUGH of Keota, Iowa; two Aunts, Sandra MURRAY of Keosauqua, Jeannette COX of Douds; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry COHENOUR; and several Aunts and Uncles. Per Chris's wishes, his body has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Chautauqua Park Shelter 2 in Fairfield, Iowa. Online condolences may be directed to www.pedrickfuneralhome.com.
