Ferne MROGENSKI

Ferne L. MROGENSKI, 80, of 905 N. 10th St., died at 7:57 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 1993, at her home.

She was born June 29, 1912, at Bedford, to George W. and Mary Alice McINTIRE HAMILTON. She grew up north of Fairfield, attended Center No. 9 School and graduated from Fairfield High School. She married Albert F. MROGENSKI on Feb. 25, 1939, in Fairfield. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1974.

MROGENSKI lived her entire life in the Fairfield community. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are one daughter, Peggy PHILIPS of Fairfield; two sons, Thomas of Des Moines and James of Fairfield; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Liz MARTIN; three brothers, Milo, Howard and Lloyd; and one sister, Mabel COOP.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home, the Rev. William J. Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

The Altar and Rosary recitation of the rosary will be at 4 p.m. today at Raymond's. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Fairfield Public Library.
