Note: The above brief obituary is all I have on hand at the moment. Behner Funeral Home's website has a complete obituary for Kim which notes that she was born November 9, 1948, in Iowa Falls, IA, the daughter of Wendell and Jean STONER of Alden, IA. She graduated from Ackley-Geneva High School in 1966, Ellsworth Junior College in 1968, and married Gary ADAM in 1970 in Fairfield. She had worked as an Executive Secretary at Harper Brush Co. in Fairfield. She and Gary had three children, Jackie, Brad, and Tyler. Kim helped Gary on their farm, also worked at Farm Bureau Insurance, and managed the warehouse and office in the family seed and shuttle business. She later returned to school and graduated with honors as a medical transcriptionist. Kim was a talented artist and writer, painting ceramics and penning annual Christmas letters and poems. She liked to bowl, travel, be on the water, camp at the Iowa State Fair, play cards, entertain, decorate for the holidays, read, watch movies and study history. She was a lover of life and lived it to the fullest. Surviving her are her husband Gary, brother Jim (Terri), and sister Kay McCOY; their children Jackie, Brad (Gina), and Tyler (fiancÚ Brittney); and two grandchildren, Erica and Alina. Her parents preceded her in death. Kim's services were November 30th, after which she was cremated; inurnment of cremains will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Memorial gifts to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Iowa.
When I receive the paper with a more complete obituary, it will be added to this posting. -Admin
