Robert G McCORMICK

Claremore, OK

Robert G. McCORMICK a seventy year old Rancher and Marine Veteran passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born on July 30, 1947 in Fairfield, Iowa to George and Erma (HAINES) McCORMICK. He was an All American Football Player in high school. Mr. McCORMICK was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp during vietnam; he was awarded two Purple Hearts and was very proud of his service to his country. He also was a rancher and a true cowboy and cowman. He loved to watch his grandson's at their roping events and was very proud of them. Robert was preceded in passing by his father George McCORMICK and his daughter Anna RICH.

Survivors include his mother Erma McCORMICK of Fairfield, Iowa, a special friend Dianna Sheets of Keota, Iowa, his sons Seth McCORMICK and his wife MaRanda of Fairland, Oklahoma and Randy McCORMICK and his wife Nicole of Virden, New Mexico, his brothers Richard McCORMICK and his wife Jane of Vici, Oklahoma, Mike McCORMICK and his wife Nancy of New Viena, Ohio, a sister Beverly YULE and her husband Jim of Packwood, Iowa, his grandchildren Clay McCORMICK, Chase McCORMICK, Katie RICH and Aaron RICH, , (sic) along with his nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

There will be a graveside service for Robert 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Richland Friends Cemetery in Richland, Iowa (note: in Keokuk Co., IA).

There will be a luncheon at Mother Cabrini Hall following the graveside in Richland.
