Harold and Alberta LILJEDAHL of Fairfield will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Wednesday.
Harold LILJEDAHL and Alberta HILL were married Jan. 2, 1949, in Ottumwa.
The LILJEDAHLs have two children: Ann GODWIN with husband Don of Fairfield; and Keith LILJEDAHL, deceased. They also have five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. LILJEDAHL is retired; he worked for the Iowa Department of Transportation for 43 years.
No celebration is planned, but cards can be sent to the couple at 1101 Liberty Drive, Fairfield 52556.
