Page 2Open house set for CRAWFORD's birthday
A 75th birthday open house for Shirley Ann DRISH CRAWFORD is planned from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Brighton Community Center.
Mrs. CRAWFORD of Grand Haven, Michigan, was born July 12, 1943, in Washington, Iowa. She graduated from Pleasant Plain High School in 1961. She resided in southeast Iowa for most of her life, before moving to Michigan four years ago.
She married Duain OSBORN and had three boys: Myron of Brighton, Dwight with wife Lisa of Cedar Rapids, and Dennis with wife Bernadette of Fairfield. They later divorced, and she married the late John CRAWFORD and they had a daughter: Amy and husband Jason MANKOWSKI of Grand Haven, Michigan. She has 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with two more expected soon.
Mrs. CRAWFORD retired from the Fairfield Community School District in 2006 after 15 years of bus driving. She was also employed at Ottumwa Transit, Perfex/Modine and Universal Producing Company.
The open house for all family and friends is being hosted by her family. Refreshments will be served. No gifts are requested.
