I am searching for references or guidance in locating obituaries and family documents. I'm searching for my great Grandma's family members. Her information is below:

◾birth place: Newton, Iowa
◾death date: April 29, 1946
◾death place: Baxter, Iowa
◾parent's names: Shadrack F. Reynolds & Viola Rubar
◾spouse: Arno Paul Edler
◾spouse's birth date: Jan. 14, 1922
◾spouse's birth place: Malaka, Independence Township, Jasper County, Iowa
◾spouse: death date: Dec. 27, 1982

◾children with birth date and place: Allan Arno Edler Sept. 23, 1942 Newton, IowaStruggling to locate information on her parents who both died rather young.
Viola Rubar born January 30, 1890 and died March 19, 1935. Her parents were Lydia Howell (1869-1939) and Charles Rubar (1860-1943)
Shadrack Freemont Reynolds born April 22, 1887 and died January 25,1937.
Any guidance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I'm guessing there is a local source that could look up obituaries but don't know who to contact. Not able to find information on newspapers.com
