On findagrave.com he is listed both in the Vandalia, Iowa cemetery and in Canada. He is buried in Saskatchewan, Canada. His memorial there:
Emory was one of a family of 15 children. On June 5, 1894, he married Irene Anderson at Vandalia, Iowa. They had 2 children: Katie Fay Kuhns, born July 15, 1896 and Gerald De Vere Kuhns, born 1903. The family came to live in western part of Caledonia Municipality, near Milestone, in 1902.
Irene died in 1927, at age of 55.
On November 12, 1928, Emory married Cora Collins of Corinne. The Kuhns and the Collins families had been friends in Iowa. [From Prairie Plow Til Now]
