Aimee Renae Martin, age 18 of Polk City, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Graveside services will be held at McKeever Cemetery on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11:30 am. Memorials may be directed to the family and checks made out to Jimmy or Lorena Martin and may be mailed to the funeral home at Coburn Funeral Home 24 West Howard Street Colfax, Iowa 50054, Attn: Aimee Martin Family. Condolences may also be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The daughter of Jimmy Eugene and Lorena Gayle (McNease) Martin, Aimee and her twin sister, Ashlee, were born on July 2, 2007, in Des Moines. Aimee attended Ankeny Community Schools K-8th grade after which she transferred to Iowa Connections Academy where she graduated in 2025. Aimee enjoyed spending time with her sister and neighbors playing video games. She also enjoyed making graphic design and making content for graphic design. When she wasn't making graphic designs she created art on her computer. Many weekends you would find her spending time camping with her family and spending time with her camping family.

Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Jimmy and Lorena Martin; her twin sister, Ashlee and a grandmother, Katherine Anderson her godmother, Carmen Martin along with many aunt, uncles and cousins. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Kenneth McNease and Allen "Buzz" and Karen Rand.
