Lanora “Tink” Irene Pendroy, 76, Gardner, Kansas passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her home. Cremation with a Celebration of Life at a future date. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jackie's Legacy Camper Scholarship Fund. Please make Checks payable to Terri Mantia. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

Tink was born on March 4, 1948 in Newton, Iowa to Alvie Leeton and Ruth Alpha (Dodd) Baxter. She grew up in Newton, Iowa and graduated from Newton High School. On December 10, 1964 Tink married Jack Lee Pendroy in Newton. Tink worked in the banking industry; before staying home to raise her family. She loved her family and grandchildren. Tink enjoyed being a caregiver to others. During her free time, she worked puzzles and crosswords, traveled, went gambling and fishing on the boat. Tink loved to laugh, listen to classic country music and cook for her family.

Tink was preceded by her parents, sister Joan Murray and granddaughter Jackie, and brother-in-law Lynn “Hutch” Hutchins. She is survived by her husband Jack; daughter Terri Lynne (Mark) Mantia, Gardner, Kansas; son Ryan Lee (Angie) Pendroy, Melvern, Kansas; sisters: Diana Hutchins, Warrensburg, Missouri, Teresa Schultz, Newton, Iowa, Vicki Moore, Newton, Iowa; brother Scott (Karla) Baxter, Newton, Iowa; grandchildren: Dalton Mantia, Gardner, Kansas, Madison Rose Mantia, Gardner, Kansas, Chloe Mantia, Leawood, Kansas, Garrett Pendroy, Edgerton, Kansas and Gunnar Pendroy, Melvern, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Jackie’s Legacy Campers scholarship fund with checks made to Terri Mantia.
