Mrs. W. C. Plumb, 80-year old resident of Newton, died Friday at her home at 416 North Seventh avenue West.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Murdoch funeral home here Monday afternoon, Mar. 22, at 1 o’clock. Interment will be in Union Chapel cemetery near Ira.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Plumb, the former Laura Alice Shepley, is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George Perin of Baxter, Ia., Mrs. Joe Taylor of near Goddard, Mrs. Perry Sumpter of Baxter, Ia., and three sons, James Plumb of Edgemont, S Dak., Harry Plumb of Colo, Ia., and Van Plumb of this city.
Prior to moving to Newton Aug. 25, 1942, Mr. and Mrs. Plumb lived for sixteen years in and near Baxter.
