Mary Hadsall, 74, Dies at Hospital; Rites Wednesday
Mrs. Dale (Mary Leonard) Hadsall, 74, a resident of the Colfax community the majority of her life, died Sunday morning at the Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Colfax Methodist Church.
The Rev. Dale Nicholson, minister of the church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in McKeever Cemetery.
Moffitt Funeral Home at Mitchellville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hadsall is survived by two sons, Orville Leonard of Colfax and James Leonard of Newton; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Amanda) Iske of Newton and Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Beals of Colfax; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a step-daughter, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Tiffany of Colfax; two step-sons, Francis and Charles Hadsall of Colfax; eight step-grandchildren; a brother, Roy Wheeler, of Milwaukee, Wis., and two nieces.
The daughter of Orville and Amanda Couch Wheeler, she was born June 26, 1888 near Colfax.
She was married to Thomas Leonard of Colfax Oct. 6, 1909. Mr. Leonard died Feb. 12, 1945.
She was married June 29, 1951 to Dale Hadsall. Mr. Hadsall died Aug. 10, 1955
