Mrs. Connelly Dies
Baxter – Mrs. Clarence (Minnie R.) Connelly, 60, a lifelong resident of the Baxter community, died this morning at the University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home in Baxter is handling arrangements which have not been completed.

Minnie Connelly Services Are Conducted Today
Baxter – Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence (Minnie) Connelly, 60, a lifelong resident of Baxter, were held today at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Baxter.
The Rev. Gary Hubley, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in Restland Cemetery in Baxter.
Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home in Baxter handled arrangements.
Survivors are her husband; five sons, Duane Miller of Boston, Mass., and Jerry Miller, Martin Connelly, Bruce Connelly and Victor Connelly, all of Baxter; a step-son, Everett Connelly of Pomona, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Howard (Emile) Latch of State Center, Mrs. Raymond (Phyllis) Mouchka and Mrs. Dennis (Sharon) Smith, both of Newton; Mrs. Dennis (Berna) Bucklin and Mrs. Gary (Sandra) Engle, both of Baxter, and Mrs. Duane (Linda) Brindle of Conrad; 21 grandchildren; and even great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Everett (Alice) Samuels, Emma Bodry and Mrs. Gerald (Ruby) Davis, all of Newton; and three brothers, Albert Kloppenborg of Newton, Harland Kloppenborg of State Center and Nason Kloppenborg of Collins.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Andy Miller, in 1943; parents; two sisters; and a daughter in infancy.
The daughter of John and Roxina Nason Kloppenborg, she was born Mar. 16, 1916 in Baxter.
She was married to Andy Miller at Marshalltown and to Clarence Connelly Mar. 3, 1950 at Marshalltown.
