Agnes Buck, 100, Dies Wednesday; Rites Saturday
Rhodes – Agnes Buck, 100, a resident of Rhodes since 1908, died Wednesday at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rhodes United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Nancy Nichol, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery in Rhodes.
Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home in Baxter is handling arrangements.
Survivors are a niece, Mrs. Frances Haas of Rhodes and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.
Miss Buck, a member of the United Methodist Church of Rhodes, had taught music for 82 years, still having two music pupils at the time of her death.
The daughter of Christopher Grainger and Margaret Rattray Buck, she was born May 4, 1876 in Wilton, attended Wilton schools and studied music at Emil Liebling School of Music at Chicago, Ill.
